Rebuilt Exchange Assemblies
T able 6-1 lists part numbers for rebuilt exchange assemblies . Exchange assemblies (factory
repaired and tested) are available only on a trade-in basis; therefore , the defective assembly
must be returned for credit.
T o return a defective exchange assembly:
1. Record the nature of the assembly's defect.
2. Wrap the defective assembly in its static-safe wrapping and replace it in the original
shipping container . Enclose a copy of the recorded defect information.
3. Place the pre-addressed label on the package , and return the defective assembly to receive
credit.
