Making a Measurement
Connection to Device Under T est (DUT)
Connections for High Current Measurement (HP 4156A Only)
When you force or measure a large current, you ma y want to use a K elvin (4-wire) connection
to eliminate the residual resistance eects of test leads and contacts. F or example , you can use the
following connections as Kelvin connections on the test xture:

T o cancel the eects of the residual resistance , test leads must be connected as close as possible to
the DUT .
