8 Optional equipment
8.1 Fertiliser equipment
Tillage and fertilising can be combined by using the fertiliser equipment. The equip-
ment mainly consists of the distributor towers, the hose system and the seed pipes
on the tine bars.
Fertiliser is directed to the tines via the distributor tower and the hose system.

Check the distributor regularly for foreign objects.
Ø
Check hoses and distributor cover for firm seating and leak tightness. Pressure
losses lead to non-uniform transverse distribution.
Ø
Check all hoses for firm seating. They must not be sagging.
Ø
Replace worn or damaged hoses.
