Height setting on pre-emergence marker
Maintenance
¾
Check free movement and clearance of
bearings.
¾
Check hydraulic valve function and disc mark
before starting work.
¾
Check coulter discs for wear.
Dam harrow
Dam harrows are individually fastened on spring
loaded holders.
The tines level the dams between the packer
tyres and produce a level seedbed behind the
packer roller.
Dam harrow
The tines can be adjusted when worn.
Pre-emergence marker
The pre-emergence markers mark the tram
lines before the seed grows. They can also be
subsequently mounted to the coulter brackets.
The coulter discs are hydraulically lifted and
electrically activated by the tram line control
system.
Pre-emergence marker
The cutting angle of the coulter discs can be
adjusted to suit the soil conditions and the re-
quested marker depth by rotating the disc angle.
Simply release the bracket and rotate the four-
cornered shaft until the requested coulter disc
angle is attained.
Then tighten the screws again.
For an aggressive adjustment the delivery in-
cludes an additional set of brackets, which can
then be used for replacement.
Depth setting
The marker depth can be adjusted by the bracket
via bolt and adjustment holes.
Using the upper hole stops the arm and marking
is disabled.
