trickling characteristics and thus do not
fill the roller flutes completely.
In such cases talcum powder or graph-

When using the adapter frame you must install
and adjust the wider sealing lip - see adjusting
the sealing lip.

The special rotors for coarse seeds shoul in
this case be used.
These are available in different sizes to match
the different working widths and seed quantities.
Rotor 320 cm³
Rotor 170 cm³
(not for double Venturi
area)
Rotor 2 x 85 cm³
(only for double Venturi
area)
Coarse seeds
For sowing coarse seed (maize, beans, peas, etc.)
one must use the metering unit.
¾
A deflector must be installed instead of the
rape brushes.
This deflector prevents large seed grains from
getting caught between rotor and housing,
being crushed and thus blocking the rotor.

For very large grains you may install an
adapter frame. For large grains this eases
the entry into the metering unit and prevents
grains from being damaged.
