Operational safety
The machine must only be put into operation
after receiving instructions by employees of the
authorized dealer or a HORSCH employee. The
machine registration form has to be completed
and returned to HORSCH.
In addition to the operating instructions, it is
important to observe the accident prevention
regulations specified by agricultural trade as
-
sociations!
All protective features and safety equipment,
such as detachable protective devices, must be
correctly in place and reliably functioning before
the machine is put into operation.

Check nuts and bolts, especially the ones on
wheels and cultivation tools regularly for tight
fit and retighten if necessary.

In case of malfunctions immediately stop and
secure the machine.
¾
Check tyre pressure regularly.
Road traffic safety
The valid road traffic regulations are to be ob
-
served when travelling on public roads, paths
and areas.
Observe permissible transport widths and heights.
Assemble lighting, warning and protective equip-
ment and check the function.
Do not exceed the permissible axle loads, tyre
carrying capacities and total weights, in order to
ensure sufficient steering and braking capabilities.
The front axle must be loaded with at least 20 %
of the tractor weight.
Handling is affected by the connected equip
-
ment. It is important to take into account the
large overhang and the centrifugal mass of the
implement, particularly when cornering.
For road transport the machine has to be con-
verted to transport position.
The machine must be folded up and secured.
The hydraulic cylinders on the chassis must be
filled up with green spacers, the machine must
be lowered on these spacers.
Do not transport the machine in a position higher
than necessary.
Pay special attention to the transportation height
when passing under bridges and low suspended
power lines.
Clean soil from the folding areas before retract-
ing. Otherwise there could be damage to the
mechanics.
Clean all soil off the machine before driving on
public roads.
Passengers are strictly forbidden to ride on the
machine!
On public roads travel at a maximum speed
of 25 km/h and only with am empty seed
hopper.
