Go through the following steps after removing the cam
described in the page 40.

Remove the belt cover.
(Fig.1)

Remove the bevel gear unit.
(Fig.2)

There are only two mounting screws.

Remove the timing pulley.

. Lower the tension pulley.

. Remove the timing belt.

. Remove the timing pulley.

Remove the feed screw and the guide shaft.
(Fig.4)

You need to remove the side frame before replacing
the motor. You need to broaden out the front of the side
frame when you remove the side frame. Remove the
feed screw and the guide shaft so that you can broaden
the side frame afterward.

. Remove the snap ring (STW-12) on the guide shaft. The
snap ring is inside the side frame.

. Pull out the guide shaft to the rear.

. Remove the bevel gear and the ring on the rear of the
machine.
4
. Pull out the feed screw to the rear.
