1. General

Observe all labels that were attached to electrical leads, assemblies, subassemblies, and parts
during disassembly and repair.

Assembly materials are listed in Fig. 701. Fits, clearances, and dimensions are given in the

FITS

AND CLEARANCES

section. Special tools are listed in the

SPECIAL TOOLS, FIXTURES, AND

EQUIPMENT

section.

NOTE: Equivalent substitutes may be used for all assembly materials.

2. Transceiver Assembly (Ref. IPL Fig. 1)

A. Housing

(1) Install troughing (57) into chassis, and secure with screws (58).

(2) Install guides (53) on front wall (48); secure with screws (56), posts (55), and screws (54).

(3) Install hooks (50) on front wall (48), and secure with screws (51) and washers (52).

(4) Position front wall (48) in chassis, and secure with screws (49).

(5) Install label (58A) on chassis only if replacement is required.

B. Motherboard, A6

(1) Install Motherboard, A6 (28) and foil (27) into chassis,, and secure with screws (29).

(2) Connect cable, W1, connectors, X330 and X210, on mating connectors on Motherboard.

C. EMC Filter, A7

(1) Install EMC Filter, A7 (22) in chassis.

(2) Connect flexprint cables, W74 and W76, in their mating connectors, X74 and X76, on the

EMC Filter module.

(3) Install cable, W3 (21) connector, X72, on EMC Filter module.

(4) Install rear panel (30) on rear of chassis,, and secure with screws (11, 23, and 31).
