ATTENTION
•
The Fiber Module receives its power from the Repeater Adapter.
•
The minimum fiber cable length for a short distance Fiber Module is
0.1 m (4 in).
Step
Action

•
To make connections between medium distance Fiber Modules TC-
RPFM01:
a)
Remove the protective cover from the
RX
(Recv) connector for
channel 1. Connect the ST connector on the end of the fiber optic cable
from the
TX
(Xmit) connector (Channel 1 or 2) on the Fiber Module in
another Repeater/Fiber hub.
b)
Remove the protective cover from the
TX
(Xmit) connector for
channel 1. Connect the ST connector on the end of the fiber optic cable
from the
RX
(Recv) connector (Channel 1 or 2) on the Fiber Module in
another Repeater/Fiber Hub. Be sure the
RX
connector is from the same
channel as the
TX
connector in Step a. Never connect the cable between
channel 1 or channel 2 on the same Fiber Module or a different Fiber
Module on the same Repeater/Fiber hub.
