Note
If the DDNS address fails to be updated, the DVR may not connect to a
remote client. If this is the case, enter the IP address from the client side
to allow access from the DVR. This is just a temporary measure.
For the IP address, move to and check
EXTERNAL IP ADDRESS
from
the
NETWORK
window. Note that the
EXTERNAL IP ADDRESS
is
subject to change if the DVR does not use the static IP.
CAUTION
Note that the EXTERNAL IP ADDRESS can change at
any time in a dynamic IP environment.
