Installing the Housing

Installing a Pendant Housing

You can install an indoor or outdoor pendant housing to a wall, roof, or ceiling
mount.

To install a pendant housing:

Route the field wiring through the access hole in the housing and through
the access hole in the housing interface board.

Install the supplied ferrite bead on the power cable as close to the housing
as possible, preferably within 24 in. (609 mm).

Ferrite Bead Installation

Wrap the NPT tapered thread at the top of the housing with thread seal
("Teflon") tape (not supplied).

Carefully thread the housing onto the mount.
