59. Plug the 12-pin and 2-pin (for the accessory
socket) connectors of the
i-VES
harness into the
rear of the VCP console.
60. Get the sponge pads. Remove the backing from
the sponge pads, and attach them to the VCP
console at the scribed marks as shown for the
left and right sides.
61. Attach the clip of the
i-VES
harness to the rib of
the VCP console panel as shown.
VCP CONSOLE
63. Position the VCP console on the right and left
VCP brackets, and install the four console clips.
64. Check that all wire harnesses are routed
properly and all connectors are plugged in.
65. Reconnect the negative cable to the battery.
66. If equipped, enter the customer's anti-theft code
for the radio, and reset radio station presets.
67. Tune the radio to 88.3 FM. (If the FM modulator's
setting has been changed, tune the FM radio to
the new setting.) Store the frequency as one of
the radio station presets.
68. Insert a known-good videocassette into the VCP,
and press the PLAY > button.
69. Press the speaker switch on the VCP.
70. Test for system as described in the Owner’s
Manual supplied.
71. Reinstall all removed parts.
72. Reset the clock.
