Step 7: T2 Teflon Wire –
Strip ½” (1cm) insulation from one end of the 5” piece of Teflon wire, and insert
the end into one of the smaller holes in T2’s footprint. Solder the wire to the PCB and trim any excess flush
with the PCB.
Wind the Teflon wire around T2’s core passing it through the core a total of three times.
Cut the wire, strip the end and insert the wire into the remaining small hole in T2’s footprint. Solder the wire to
the PCB and trim any excess flush with the PCB, Keeping in mind the very limited distance between the back
of the PCB and the heat spreader.
