6.3.
Aft er an accident
If parts of the drive system (cable, motor, batt ery) are visibly damaged due
to an accident, there is a risk of electric shock.
-> In this case, remove the batt ery immediately. Have the drive system
checked by the HNF-NICOLAI service or a bicycle workshop trained in
Bosch eBike system.
Parts of your vehicle may be damaged due to an accident, which can cause
a risk of breakage.
-> In case of an accident, contact HNF-NICOLAI Service or a bicycle work-
shop to have damaged parts such as the frame, fork, handlebar, stem,
seatpost, pedal cranks and pedals checked and replaced if necessary.

Batt ery
During use
, it is the performance requirements that primarily determine the service
life of the batt ery.
Frequent use of high levels of assistance reduces the service life of the batt ery.
During storage/non-use
, the following factors are relevant for service life:

Storage temperature. Opti mal: 0-20 °C.
Temperatures above 30 °C or parking the bike with the batt ery in direct sunlight
reduce the service life of the batt ery.

Charge level.
Opti mal charge level: 40-60% (=2-3 LEDs)
Storing the batt ery fully charged or fl at reduces the service life.
