Defining a Center/Radius Scan Region
When defining a Center/Radius Scan Region, first, click on the down-arrow next to
Scan Region
in the Automatic Scan panel and select
Center/Radius
.

Define this scan using any one of these methods:
•
Click and drag to define a circle. The point where you first click will be the
center of the circle. Hold the mouse button down and drag the mouse to
define the radius.
OR
•
Enter the X and Y coordinates of the center of the circular sample then enter
the radius of the sample.
OR
•
Move the laser beam to the center of the sample and click the
Center
button.
Move the laser beam to the edge of the sample and click the
Radius
button.
