Overview of the Graphical User Interface 

All measurement operations (scanning, saving data, generating statistics, etc.) are 
carried out from software interface.  The measurement plot, which is the graphical 
display of the scan data, appears in the central plot area.  The information on the 
plot depends on the measurement type and graph type selected.  

Other buttons and panels in the window allow you to define the scan region, 
customize the scan, format the graph, etc. Each area and button of this window is 
further explained in this chapter.  The sections of the Exicor main window are shown
