Mower Oil
Symptom
Problem
Solution
Overheating
Refer to “"Responding to a High Oil Temperature Warning"
in Section 4.
Low oil level
Add oil to tank. Check sight
glass for level
Cooling fan not operating
Check “Trouble Codes” on
the fan control module.
Repair.
Connect the electrical power
to an outlet that is rated for
30 amps or more to ensure
sufficient power for the
cooling fan. The power can
also be taken directly from
the tractor battery.
Check the 40 amp fuse
located in the power cable
going to the switch box
Radiator plugged
Blow out debris with air.
Wash out dirt with low
pressure water
Blade pan motor running hot
Check the motors with an
infrared heat sensor. The
motor that reads as hotter
than the others needs
attention by a qualified
technician. Replace motor
Excessive ground speed in
heavy conditions
Reduce ground speed
Excessive hitting of ground
with blades
Increase cutting height
Excessive amount of oil
leaking past gears
Worn pump or motor. Have
pump or motor maintained
by qualified technician or
replace
