EEM Device Flag (Enable Swift ID over a USB connection):
Check this item to utilize
Swift ID via a USB connection.
Note:
When this box is checked, the Ethernet connection (if applicable) on the printer is
disabled.

If this flag or selection is not accessible, it means the HID EEM Driver (that Swift ID
uses to connect via a USB connection) has not been installed.
Note:
This Driver can be found on the installation CD or it can be downloaded from
the HID Global support page.
3.2.1
Enable Swift ID
To enable Swift ID, follow this procedure.
Step Procedure
1
Uninstall the printer driver and its components.
2
Reinstall the printer driver and its components using the designated installation procedure.
3
Select the connection type for the Swift ID application: USB or ETHERNET.
