The replaceable parts lists consist of illustrations and tables. Use the illustrations to identify the part to

be ordered; use the tables to determine the ordering information. 

Each table is arranged in 

numerical order by reference designator. The reference designator keys the part listed to the illustra-

tion. The first part number listed is HP’s part number and may differ from the manufacturer’s part

number. The check digit serves as an error check of the part number and should be used when ordering
a part. Quantity refers to the total number of that part in the instrument. The description is a brief written
description of the part and may be used for ordering purposes. Manufacturers code is a five digit
number assigned to each manufacturer (identified in Table 6-l). The manufacturer part number may or
may not be the same as the HP part number.

The replaceable parts of ports 1 and 2 of the HP 8514B are identified in Figure 6-6.
