The assemblies handled in this procedure are VERY SENSITIVE TO
DAMAGE BY STATIC ELECTRICITY.
PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THESE INSTRUCTIONS! Expensive assem-
blies are destroyed EVERY DAY because anti-static precautions are not
taken seriously.
WEAR AN ANTI-STATIC WRIST STRAP THAT IS CONNECTED TO EARTH
GROUND. If you ground the strap to the instrument chassis, make sure
the instrument is plugged in, otherwise you are not connected to earth
ground. An ungrounded instrument can not provide sufficient protection,
and can even build up its own static charge.
