1 - Emergency lowering
1.1 - PRINCIPLE
Emergency lowering is required if the operator in the platform is no longer capable of
controlling the movements even though the machine operates normally.
An operator on the ground, trained in using the emergency controls and in possession of the
starter key, can use the lower console with the main power source to lower the operator in the
platform.
1.2 - PROCEDURE
Section A 2- Pre-operation instructions
For : STAR 6 (STAR 13)
For : STAR 9
Push the emergency valve located under the chassis.
Push the electro-distributor and the emergency valve to
lower the mast or hydraulic ladder.
