2.7 - MACHINE TILT
For STAR 6 (STAR 13)
If the machine is positioned on a slope exceeding authorized tilt with the mast extended, the
tilt control unit alerts the operator.
Driving and elevation controls are cut if this situation lasts longer than 1 or 2 s.
To restore the driving function, only movements allowing the machine to be folded are
permitted :
• Mast lowering.
If the machine descends a slope greater than 10% (around 5°) with the mast stowed, the
machine automatically moves to slow.
For STAR 9
If the machine is positioned on a slope exceeding authorized tilt with the mast extended, the
tilt control unit alerts the operator.
Driving and elevation controls are cut if this situation lasts longer than 1 or 2 s.
To restore the driving function, only movements allowing the machine to be folded are
permitted :
• Mast lowering.
• Lowering the hydraulic ladder.
If the machine descends a slope greater than 10% (around 5°) with the mast stowed, the
machine automatically moves to slow.
For STAR 8 (STAR 22J)-STAR 10 (STAR 26J)-STAR 11-STAR 12
If the machine is positioned on a slope exceeding authorized tilt, the tilt control unit alerts the
operator.
Driving and elevation controls are cut if this situation lasts longer than 1 or 2 s.
To restore the driving function, only movements allowing the machine to be folded are
permitted :
• Mast lowering.
• Jib lowering.
