the

Manual

are also images as they were recorded in the camera without any, or very minor

computer manipulations. That means that all the images could have been created on ﬁ lm or
digitally using the same camera techniques and for this reason I do not mention the media
used in most illustrations. By doing this, I hope that the photographs inspire you to use the
cameras to produce more effective visuals instead of worrying about which media was used.

To learn the possibilities of image manipulation, all photographic magazines today have

helpful and interesting articles on these topics, numerous books are available that discuss any
and all aspects of image retouching and manipulations and workshops on these topics are
constantly held at least in the United States. Study as much as you can, I highly recommend
attending workshops conducted by recognized digital photographers.

The Hasselblad Manual

goes into great detail about all the camera operations, the

options you have in the camera, and lens controls to produce images in the camera with the
