WARNING: Disconnect primary power prior to servicing.

Diamond Series™

Section 2 Installation

STEP 3

Apply AC voltage to the PA Cabinet from the primary disconnect.

STEP 4

Turn on the Blower breaker and verify that the phase indicator light on

the phase loss detector (orange box) in the lower rear of the cabinet is
illuminated.

STEP 5

Turn on the Amp Control and Low Voltage Power Supply A circuit

breakers.

STEP 6

Verify that 120 VAC is present at in-line cable plugs P3 and P4 (pins 1

and 2) going into the Low Voltage Power Supply (LVPS) assembly.

STEP 7

Turn OFF all circuit breakers and reconnect plugs P3 and P4.

STEP 8

Repeat for each PA Cabinet.

2.9.2

Check the PA Cabinet LVPS DC Voltage.

NOTE:

The following procedure applies to each PA Cabinet.

STEP 1

Unplug J7, the DC output of the LVPS assembly in each PA Amplifier

Cabinet.

STEP 2

Activate power supply “A” by turning ON the circuit breakers for

Amplifier Cabinet Control and LVPS A. Several green LEDs should
light on the LVPS Distribution Board (mounted on the side of the
supplies).

STEP 3

Verify the DC voltage on each pin of J7.

Pin 1 GND

Pin 2 +7.5VDC

Pin 3 +7.5VDC

Pin 4 -15VDC

Pin 5 +15VDC

Pin 6 GND
