Vehicle in raised position
l Observe all accident prevention regulations.
l Ensure all safety latches are engaged before moving near the raised vehicle.
l Do not allow unauthorized persons to stay under the raised vehicle.
l Avoid rocking of vehicle.
l Keep lift free of tools, parts, etc.
l Fasten the vehicle to the support runway using lashing straps when removing or installing
heavy components.
l Pull the unloading valve on the power unit to lower the vehicle and set on the safety lock
before operating on the vehicle.
Lowering
l Be sure the safety area is free of people and objects;;
l Raise the lift a little bit by pushing green button to clear off the safety;;
l Release the safety latch by pulling safety release handle down (hold the handle down until
you are finished lowered activity)
l Press unloading handle on the power unit to lower the lift to desired height
l Release (raise) the safety handle to highest location
l If you have lowered to ground level this operation is complete, otherwise raise the lift and
engage safety latches before operating on vehicle.
