Unloading the dishwasher
CAUTION
Risk of scalding!
Hot steam emitted when opening the
appliance door can cause scalding.
■
Maintain a sufficient distance from
the appliance door, and do not hold
your head or upper body directly
above the open appliance door.
■
Make sure that children do not open
the appliance door if the programme
has only finished a short time ago.
■
Only open the appliance door slight-
ly to allow the steam to escape more
easily.
■
Allow the dishes to cool before un-
loading the dishwasher.
Risk of injury!
People may trip over the open appli-
ance door.
■
Close the appliance door after every
use.
■
Only leave the appliance door slightly
open to cool down.
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
Loading the open appliance door can
result in damage to property.
■
Make sure that children and pets
do not stand on the open appliance
door.
Once the programme has come to an
end and the dishes have cooled, you can
remove them.
1. When unloading the dishwasher, start
with the lower rack and then unload the
upper rack. This will prevent water drip-
ping onto the lower layer of dishes from
the top layer of dishes.
2. Leave the dishwasher door slightly open
so that the inside of the dishwasher can
also cool off and dry out.

The dishwasher buttons can be locked, e.g.
for childproofing purposes.
• To
– switch the button lock on, press the
button (2) and button (3) simulta-
neously after the programme start and
keep them pressed in until the lock in-
dicator (15) appears on the display.
All buttons are locked except the
button (1).
– switch the button lock off, press both
buttons again and keep them pressed
in until the lock indicator disappears
from the display.
The buttons are unlocked.
When the appliance is switched off, the but-
ton lock is also switched off and must be
switched on again the next time the pro-
gramme is started.
