vised for an extended period when
the tap is on.

During storms or when going on holi-
day, always pull the mains plug from
the socket and close the water tap.

If there is a risk of frost, loosen the
inlet hose and allow the water to run
off.
■
If you install a microwave over the
dishwasher, the dishwasher can be
damaged.

Do not install the appliance under a
hob. Do not install the appliance di-
rectly next to a non-kitchen, heat-ra-
diating appliance. The sometimes
high radiation temperatures may
damage the dishwasher.
Risks for built-in appliances

Improper installation of the dishwasher
can interfere with safe use.

Ensure that the appliance is properly
fixed in place. Never use adhesives or
glue to fix the appliance in place.
Improper installation of the dishwash-
er in a tall cupboard can interfere with
safe use.

Ensure that the tall cupboard is prop-
erly fixed in place.
■
If the appliance is installed above or
below other household appliances,
the information in the instructions
for use of the appliances concerned
which covers installation in combina-
tion with a dishwasher must be ob-
served.
In the case of highly installed applianc-
es, children can get trapped when open-
ing and closing the appliance door.

Keep children away from the opening
area of the appliance door.
