Shutter door and door lock mechanism
Fig. 106: Door lock mechanism of the
shutter door
Entry and exit is through the shutter door.
A door lock mechanism prevents the shutter door from opening while the service
lift is in motion.
The shutter door can only be unlocked when a magnetic switch is triggered by a
magnet attached to the platform. To do this, the service lift must stop exactly in
the intended position at the height of the magnet on the platform. Please observe
the specifications for positioning the service lift on the platform (Stop automatic
travel at intermediate platform, 80)
The door lock mechanism also prevents the service lift from starting when the
door is open.

2.
►
Push the switch 180° upwards into the 12 o'clock position (1). The

⇨
The shutter door can be opened.
To return the service lift to its operational state, the switch
must be locked again.
3.
►
Push the switch down 180° to the 6 o'clock position (2).
⇨
After closing the shutter door, the service lift is ready for
operation again.
16.6.2
Ladder door
In emergencies, a side wall of the service lift (the ladder door) can be folded in to
allow exit or entry via the fixed access ladder.
The ladder door is secured with a hinge switch. Opening this door during travel
stops the service lift.
1.
►
Pull or push the ladder door inwards into the service lift.
2.
►
Lock the door into the retainer provided.
⇨
The ladder door must be closed before the service lift can be
used again normally.
