Daily Check
Daily check of the service lift
WARNING!
Defects in the safety equipment pose a danger to life.
The service lift must be checked before it is used for the first time every
working day (Daily Check).
The Daily Check may only be carried out by a qualified service lift operator
in the presence of another qualified person.

Daily Check documentation
The results of the Daily Check must be documented in detail in the logbook.

If the test is not passed, the service lift must be taken out of operation until the
defects have been rectified.

Switch off the power to the service lift at the main switch.

Attach the “Out of Order” sign to the main switch.
Only authorised specialist personnel may commission the unit again.

Check the seal on the switch cabinet (1) for integrity.

Seal on switch cabinet is damaged: The control must be
immediately serviced in accordance with the five-yearly
maintenance schedule.
⇨
Put the service lift out of service and attach the “Out of
Order” sign to the main switch. Only authorised specialist
personnel may commission the unit again.
