Electrical voltage
An electrical voltage of 400 V is present. Danger of fatal electrical shock!

The service lift and attachments must not come into contact with electrical cables or
electrical components that are damaged or do not have adequate insulation.

Maintain a minimum distance of 3 m from non-insulated components. Disconnect the
power supply to the affected components if the minimum distance cannot be
maintained.

Only specially trained, qualified personnel are allowed to perform work on the electrical
circuitry of the machine.
Behaviour in the wind turbine generator (WTG)
Insufficient safety precautions in the WTG can lead to serious injuries or death.

It is forbidden to install and use the service lift if the wind speed is too high. The
maximum permissible wind speed for the use of the service lift can be found in the
documentation of the wind turbine generator manufacturer.
 After an earthquake, the service lift and all associated components, such as the
suspension, must be serviced.

Comply with the safety regulations for wind turbine generators as well as the instructions
issued by the manufacturer of the system.
Personnel requirement: Two qualified persons
Emergency situations can be life-threatening if users are alone in the system.

A minimum of two qualified persons must be present when the service lift is in use, or
when performing work on the lift.
 The persons in and on the wind turbine generator must be able to make an emergency
call at any time.
Warning of danger of crushing and impact
There is a risk of crushing and impact above and below the service lift due to movements of the
service lift.

Do not stay under the service lift.

Keep a safe distance from the cabin if you are not in the service lift while it is moving.
Falling objects
Risk of injury from falling objects.

Transport objects to higher platforms only in approved containers. Tools must be
securely attached to the work harness.

Always wear a safety helmet in and on the wind turbine generator.
