Switch-off plate on the top
The switch-off plate (1) above the service lift serves as a safety switch-off.
If the plate is turned upwards or pushed downwards by a collision with an
obstacle on the ladder, the service lift stops and will no longer run.
The switching flap is used as an emergency exit upwards from the service lift.

The switch-off plate (1) under the service lift serves as a safety switch-off.
If, for example, the plate is pushed upwards by a collision with an obstacle, the
service lift will stop and will not be able to descend further.
NOTICE
To make the service lift ready for operation again after the switch-off plate has
been actuated, the switch-off plate must be aligned evenly on all four
suspensions.

The service lift can be opened downwards with a slide (1) in the switch plate.
When the slide is open, the service lift stops and can no longer be moved.
The slide serves as an emergency exit from the service lift downwards.

Collision protection on climbing side (optional)

If the fixed access ladder climbing path is on the opposite side of the lift travel
path, the service lift is equipped with collision protection.
If the safety switch-off of the collision protection is tripped, for instance through
collision with an obstacle on the access ladder, the service lift stops and cannot
descend further.
