Warranty
A warranty period of 12 months applies to commercial use
and 24 months apply to private use and commences on the
day of purchase of the device.
Warranty applies exclusively to failures due to defective
material or workmanship. An original sale slip with indication
of date of sale must be presented in case of claiming for the
warranty rights.
Warranty does not cover unprofessional use such as device
overload, violent use, damage caused by third party or foreign

The manufacturer will not be liable for any damage
caused by unauthorised installation or unauthorised
operation of the pump. The appliance must be checked at
regular intervals whether its state is perfect.
Every time the pump is to be put into operation, it must
be subject to a visual check for any damage (especially
on the electric cable and plug). Using a pump that is
damaged is strictly prohibited.
General safety instructions
PLEASE FOLLOW CAREFULLY THESE INSTRUCTIONS
TO GUARANTEE A HIGH SAFETY LEVEL:
The pump is not appropriate to be operated for a long
time (e.g. as a circulating pump in ponds or stream flows).
If used in this manner, the service life is shortened
accordingly. In such a case, use a timer and provide long
breaks between individual operating cycles.
The pump must not be connected to the existing
water supply system as an appliance increasing pressure.
The pump is not appropriate as a long-term,
automatic protection against overflow of tanks and wells
or to control underground water in cellars.
Do not leave the pump unattended to prevent
damage as a result of any wrong function. The pump
must necessarily be unplugged when not used.
Caution: Operation is only allowed with a safety
switch against stray current (max. stray current of 30mA
pursuant to VDE regulation part 702). Please contact your
electrician.
Caution: The pump must not in any case be operated
without any charge filling.
•
The user is responsible to any third party as far as using
the pump (pumping station, etc.) is concerned.
•
To be used on connections with a safety switch against
stray current only (FI)!
•
Before putting the unit in operation, a skilled electrician
should check whether the required electrical safety
devices are available.
•
Electrical
connection
wiring should be done via a socket.
•
Check the voltage. Technical details on the plate should
conform to the line voltage.
•
If the pump is used in ponds, wells etc. and related pumping
stations, the standards of the use of pumps in respective
countries apply.
•
The pumps used outdoors (e.g. in ponds, etc.) must be
fitted with a rubber connection cable, H07RNF type,
according to DIN 57282 or DIN 57245 standards.
•
If the pump is being operated, no person or animal
must stay or plunge in the water to be pumped (e.g.,
pools, cellars, etc.).
•
The temperature of the pumped liquid must not exceed
+35 °C. If an extension cable is used, it must exclusively
be out of rubber, H07RNF type, according to DIN 57282
or DIN 57245 standards. Never touch, lift or carry the
pump by cable when plugged. It is necessary to make
sure the connection socket is in a distance from water
and moisture and the plug is protected against moisture.
•
Before putting the pump into operation, check whether
the electric cable and/or outlet are not damaged.
•
Unplug the appliance before any work on the pump.
•
To avoid or prevent a possible damage (e.g.
room flooding, etc.) due to defective pump
operation (e.g. failure or defects), the owner (user)
is obliged to take reasonable safety measures
(installation of alarm equipment, a spare pump, etc.).
•
If the pump is defective, repair must only be provided
by an authorized service centre. Original spare parts to
be used only.
•
Please note that according to the standards in force
we will not assume any liability for damage incurred
by our appliances in the following cases:
•
Unauthorised repairs executed by unauthorised service
centres;
•
Use in conflict to the designation or failure to use
the appliance as designated;
•
Pump overloading by continuous operation;
•
Damages as a result of icing and other defects
caused by climatic influences;
The same regulations will apply to accessories
.
•
An electrician must necessarily be
contacted if the feeder cable is damaged. Do
not execute any repair with your own hands in
any case.
