Furthermore, there is a risk of injury when assembling the drive on a window
that has already been installed if the sash opens suddenly.
The safety device must correspond with the opening width of the drive. To
avoid jamming, the opening width of the safety device must exceed that of
the drive.
All dimensions of the particular installation are the responsibility of the
installer; adjustments may be necessary.
The dimension for the right and left fastening of the lock depends on the
latch position and travel (half or complete lift).
A striker plate can also be mounted at the bottom where required.
The following is determined by switching the DIP switches (see section
„Setting the travel and the operating mode“ on page 46):
„ „ lift 35 mm or 18 mm (observe the tolerance!)
„ „ Operating mode “with chain drive” or “without chain drive”

„ „ Mount the motor so that it can be accessed at all times or can be
disengaged in an emergency (see figure „Locking drive ELTRAL VAN“).
For concealed installation of the locking motor, a borehole must be made in
the profile at the point of the emergency release. This must be sealed again
using a suitable cover in order to prevent the penetration of dirt.
„ „ Follow the installation drawing. This is enclosed in the mounting bracket
kit or can be ordered from us via your responsible distribution company.
You are provided with the respective dimensions depending on the profile
system mounting type.
