5. Maintenance and cleaning
To ensure trouble-free operation, the following maintenance jobs must be
carried out after every 1000 opening cycles or at least once a year:
„ „ Check all screws for tight fit.
Retighten where necessary.
„ „ Verify if the window sash fits correctly in the frame. Readjust the
mounting bracket kit if necessary.
„ „ Check all parts for damage and wear.
Replace them where necessary.
„ „ Never use alkaline or acidic cleaning detergents.
Do not immerse the machine in water.
„ „ Do not try to repair a defective drive by yourself. Never remove
the housing or other components. In case of signs of damage to the
appliance contact the manufacturer.
Only spare parts from the manufacturer may be used.
„ „ If a defect occurs on the concealed motor installed in the profile, this
can be opened by an emergency release using the motor of the window
sash (see section „4.3 Trouble-shooting“ on page 48).
