Before working on the profiles, take note of the following:
„ „ Minimum sash width
„ „ Minimum sash height
„ „ Maximum sash weight
„ „ Existing wind and snow loads
„ „ Space required on the profile according to the assembly method
Check the required minimum distances.
Perform a function check. For this purpose, use the proper GU testing
and setting apparatus (see section „2.4 Components and accessories“ on
page 35).
Ensure that all components are in faultless state before mounting them. Do
not install the drive if it is damaged.
In case of any problems or questions please contact the distributor or
manufacturer.
3.3 Mounting
The mounting must only be carried out by a trained and experienced
specialist employee!
Risk of injury from the window slamming down!
The motor-driven tilt-only window must always be
equipped with a suitable safety device (e.g., catch
stay).
CAUTION
Tandem or synchronous operation requires drives programmed in the
factory with white and red wires.
To ensure that the drive or window are not damaged, for tandem operation
make sure that both white and red wires of both drives are respectively
connected to one-another.
Connecting a white wire to a red wire leads to the destruction of the drive.
