Chapter 5: Installing the Power Supply

2. For unstiffened bins, the Fan Control Module (18) should be mounted in the same position noted for

stiffened bins (2-3 sheets clockwise from the bin door at an accessible height from the ground).
Follow the instructions below to install the Fan Control Module on an unstiffened bin.

a. Shorten the two provided unistrut channels (34) to 2'.

b. Mount the shortened unistrut channels (34) vertically on the bin using sheets screws and

washers as shown in

Figure 5-6, page 33

.

NOTE:

Make sure to maintain 9-3/4" space between the unistrut channels (34).

c. Use the provided enclosure installation kit to mount the Fan Control Module (18) onto the

installed unistrut channels (34).
