Installing the Power Supply

NOTE
There are three options for supplying power to your system. Based on the components ordered for your
system, you must follow the instructions for OPTION 1 OR 2 OR 3 below.
OPTION 1: Solar Powered
This power supply option requires no supplemental power to the Cable Monitoring Hub. The battery and
solar panel that are included in the Hub assembly will provide the necessary power to the system. If this
option is selected, there is no external or additional power supply required and the installer can skip to
Connecting the T/RH Cables, page 43 .
NOTE: If using solar power, the power supply port in the Cable Monitoring Hub will not be used.
OPTION 2: Installing the Power Supply Unit
1. Attach the Power Supply Unit (20) to the bin wall (30), at an accessible height from the ground,
using the four pre-installed magnetic feet.
