Chapter 2: Gateway Installation
Installing the Gateway
The Gateway assembly can be mounted multiple ways, choose an option that is best for your site
location. There are two gateway assembly variants that can be provided with GrainVue systems. Option 1
(KIT - Gateway Mounted Assembly, WiFi) is used for connection to a pre-established local WiFi network.
Option 2 (KIT - Gateway Mounted Assembly, Cell) is used for connection to a cellular network. The
appropriate kit(s) will be provided on a per-site basis. Step 4 is the only step in this portion of the
installation that will vary between the two kits.
1. Install the WiFi omni Antenna (4) onto the gateway top bracket (5) using the two pre-installed bolt
and nut sets (6).

2. Install the LoRa antenna kit (7) onto the gateway top bracket (5) using the four pre-installed bolt,
washer and nut sets (6).
