Chapter 9: Accessories

Assembling the Roof Exhauster

Assembly of the roof exhauster is done prior to installing onto the roof.

1. Apply a strip of tube caulk (C) along the mating surface of the exhauster standoff weldment (F) and

the exhauster mounting plate (E).

2. Install the exhauster standoff weldment (F) to the exhauster mounting plate (E), and align all the

holes.

3. Install only seven hex head bolts (A) and flange nuts (D) (as marked), securing the exhauster stand-

off weldment (F) to the exhauster mounting plate (E).

4. Apply a strip of tube caulk (C) along the mating surface of roof exhauster hood (B) and the exhauster

standoff weldment (F).

5. Install the roof exhauster hood (B) to the exhauster standoff weldment (F), and align all the holes.

6. Install thirty-one hex head bolts (A) and flange nuts (D), securing the roof exhauster hood (B) to the

exhauster standoff weldment (F).
