SECTION 5: MAINTENANCE
For optimum performance from your machine,
follow this maintenance schedule and refer to any
specific instructions given in this section.
Daily Check
•
Loose bolts.
•
Remove adhesive build up.
•
Worn or damaged front clamp cable.
•
Worn or damaged wiring.
•
Damaged depth indicator light.
•
Any other unsafe condition.
Weekly Maintenance
•
Check/lubricate moving components.
•
Clean/lubricate V-nail driver and block.
•
Clean/lubricate fence slide.
•
Clean/grease front clamp cable.
Schedule
To reduce risk of shock or
accidental startup, always
disconnect machine from
power before adjustments,
maintenance, or service.
It is important to routinely clean and lubricate
the V-nail driver, V-nail block, and fence slides.
Adhesive from workpieces can build up, caus-
ing wear on components. Use a resin dissolving
cleaner to remove it. Use recommended lubri-
cants (see
Accessories on Page 16) to keep
machine functioning properly.
Protect the unpainted table by wiping it clean after
every use—this ensures moisture from wood dust
does not remain on bare metal surfaces. Keep
the table rust-free with regular applications of
products like G96
®
Gun Treatment, SLIPIT
®
, or
Boeshield
®
T-9 (see
Page 16 for more details).
