No V-nail inserted
into workpiece.
1. No V-nails in V-nail channel.
2. Vertical clamp height set incorrectly.
3. V-nail jammed in V-nail block.
4. The V-nail block is clogged with debris or
adhesive.
5. V-nail channel spring broken/relaxed.
1. Insert V-nail strip into V-nail channel (

2. Set vertical clamp height correctly (

4. Clean V-nail block with solvent.
5. Check spring for debris/clean/replace.
V-nail not fully
inserted.
1. Pressure bar foot pedal not pressed down

4. Depth cap screw for driver indicator limit
switch not set correctly.
5. Driver worn out.
1. Press pressure bar foot pedal down until indicator
light illuminates.
2. Set V-nail dial to appropriate height (

V-nail inserted too
