5.0 REPLACING A GOBO

Open the projector and locate the gobo that you intend to replace. Slightly press on
to the gobo towards the direction indicated by the arrow (pict. 8) until the gobo and
the fastening elastic ring get out of the apposite gear seat. Fit the new gobo along
with the elastic ring.

It is suggested to remove the lamp lid, as explained in paragraph 3.2 Fixing the
Lamp, to facilitate the replacement of the gobos which are placed on the right wheel
of the unit.

6.0 MAINTENANCE

All the projectors require regular maintenance to ensure maximum functionality and maximum optic output. Please follow these
instruction:
- clean regularly the lenses and the dichroic filters, as even a very thin layer of dust can substantially reduce the intensity and the
uniformity of the light beam;
- replace the lenses and the dichroic filters if they have been visibly damaged with cuts, cracks and deep scratches.
- replace the lamp if it has been visibly damaged or if it has been deformed because of excessive heating;
- check the electrical connections, particularly the ground connection;

NOTES: the channel 20 controls the lamp. The lamp switches off if the channel level gets
over 170 for at least 5 seconds. If the lamp switches off, it cannot switch on for about 4
minutes, which is the time required for the lamp itself to cool off.
Standby: Each time the projector is set to black-out mode (channel 7 at level 0-10), the
lamp switches to energy save mode.
