Firebird 2 User's Guide
Chapter 4 – Firebird Set Loader
Firebird Set Loader (FBD.EXE)
You can use FBD.EXE to configure Firebird 2 from the DOS prompt. You do not
have to activate the Control Console every time you want to reset Firebird 2 for
a different game.
1. From any directory, type: FBD [SETNAME] <Enter>.
If your Firebird 2 directory is not listed in your PATH statement,
you will have to change to the Firebird 2 directory before you run
this program.
The FBD.EXE program configures Firebird 2 with the control settings in the
set called SETNAME.FBD.
2. Start your game as usual.
FBD.EXE is especially useful with batch files. You can create a batch file to
configure Firebird 2 and start a game:
1. In a DOS text editor, type: Example:
FBD [Set Name (without .FBD extension)] FBD SETNAME
[Game Drive:] C: CD \[Game Directory ]
CD\GAMEDIR [Game Start Command] STARTGAME
