Axes Test
Checks that the joystick and throttle are functioning correctly. The Axes Test
includes several visual aids to help you recognize the center positions of your
joystick and throttle and to help you understand the position information sent to
your computer as you move them.
1. Select Axes Test... from the Diagnostics menu.
The Axes Test will overwrite the current configuration you have set for
Firebird 2. After the test is complete, you will have to reconfigure
Firebird 2.
A warning appears on the screen: “This diagnostic needs to overwrite the
current Firebird configuration.”
2. Select Yes to continue.
3. When prompted, center the trim control and move the stick around 360
degrees. Push the throttle all the way forward, then pull it all the way
back.
4. Select OK or press <Enter>.
The Axes Test window opens.
