Firebird 2 User's Guide
Chapter 2 – Tutorial
4. Press the <Tab> key, then <Enter>.
5. Click the Step radio button.
6. Click in the Comment box, and type the name “TUTOR2.” Then select Add
to add the function to the Function List.
7. Click Close to close the button assignment window.
The first time you pressed a button configured this way while playing a
game it would have the same effect as pressing the <Tab> key on the
keyboard. If you pressed the button a second time, it would have the same
effect as pressing the <Enter> key. (The third time you pressed it, it would
go back to <Tab>, and so on.) You’ll use these buttons later.
The name “TUTOR2” should now appear in the Function List.
8. Drag the TUTOR2 function from the Button Functions list to the Plus button
on your joystick. You’ll see a “circle-C” symbol attached to an image of a
button in place of your mouse pointer.
Release the mouse button when the image changes to an arrow pointing
down at the Plus button.
...Using the Function List, cont’d.
