Task 10 - Attaching the Fabric

Parts & Tools Needed:

Instructions

Take the following steps to prepare and attach your fabric to your frame:

Scissors

(not included)

Pins

(not included)

Measure and cut the pieces that you will use for your “quilt sandwich.”

Cut the batting to be about 8-10 inches wider and longer than your quilt top.

Cut the backing to be about 4-6 inches wider and 27 inches longer than your batting.

Note:

The Grace Company strongly

recommends using cloth leaders to help

attach your fabric because they allow you

to use less backing fabric, which saves

you money, and they also make attaching

the fabric easier. Visit graceframe.com for
