Software
The system can be configured via the antenna software. To enter the program, you
have to connect the serial interface of a PC via an interface converter with the RS 422-
interface of the antenna. Then start a terminal program on the PC.
NOTE!
The interface converter is not part of the systems scope of sup-
ply. However, it is available from several well-known distributors,
as e. g. RS Components (
http://www.rs-components.com/rs/
).
Please refer to the section “Industrial Interface Converters“ in the
RS Components catalogue.

Terminal Program
In the following we refer to the program
HyperTerminal
®
(
Hypertrm.exe
), which is
part of the scope of supply of Microsoft® Windows® 95/98/NT®. We use this program
on one hand because many users dispose of it, and on the other hand because it is
very easy to use thanks to the configuration files we deliver.
Nevertheless, any other terminal program can be utilized, provided that it contains
VT52 emulation. If you should use a different program, please read the documentation
and adjust it to the values indicated in section 5.1.2 on page 26.

Windows-setup), you can easily add it subsequently, using your Windows 95/98/NT in-
stallation-CD:
