cordless workstation for heated paint
4.2 Getting started
4.2.1 Place the battery pack
Make sure the kettle is empty and place upside down.
Rotate the clip (1) to open the battery compartment
& place the charged battery in the compartment (2)
then release the clip and ensure the battery is firmly
locked into position. If needed push the clip towards
its most forward position.
4.2.2 Add water
Pour ± 180 ml of (warm) water into the reservoir, up
to the level that is indicated by the marker. Warm,
not
boiling
water can be used (<70
°
C) to speed up the
heating process.
WARNING!
Do not pour hot water in a very cold
kettle (e.g. <5
°
C). Allow plastics to warm up slowly.
WARNING!
Do not overfill. Adding more water may
cause flooding when the inliner is inserted into kettle.
4.2.3 Place inner liner
Place an empty liner downwards into the kettle filled
with water to indicated level, until it is all the way
down into position. There should be no space left
between the rubber ring of the kettle and the inliner.
4.2.4 Fill inner liner with paint
Fill the inner liner with 0,5- 0,75 litre of paint. Filling
with more paint is possible, but will increase the
heating up time and decrease the operating time.
WARNING!
Do not pour the paint directly into the
kettle, the liner must always be used!
4.2.5 Setting the temperature / paint flow
Select the ideal temperature range for the paint.
Adjust the switch accordingly. See the figure below
for the corresponding temperature ranges. Generally:
when the temperature of the paint is higher, the
viscosity of the paint is lower = greater fluidity. The
sensor controlled electronics of the FlowControl
kettle will warm the paint up to the set temperature
range and keep the temperature range steady during
operation.
The actual paint temperature will vary and fluctuate
due to the influence of atmospheric conditions
(temperature, wind, humidity), the paint volume,
frequency of refilling.
