Setting up or editing a share

Enter a name for the
Share
.

Select the directory you wish to release for sharing. You can enter the complete path
for the directory manually or click on the
Browse
button. A file menu is opened.
You can now set up access protection for the directory.

First, select the

Select the required option from the list next to
Access
:
– Select
Read only
if you wish to release the data for reading (read only).
– Select
Full control
if you wish to release the data for reading and writing.

Select
Depending on password
if you wish to control access by means of a
password.
Depending on the chosen access option, you can now enter one password in the rele-
vant field for read-only access or for full access, or else enter different passwords for
read-only access and for full access.
ì
Now enter the password/passwords and confirm by entering it/them again.
ì
Click
OK
to save the settings.
