8.3.2 Heat soak time
The machine now stays for the requested time closed: the pipes ends
remain in contact with the heating element.
Shortly (6 seconds) before the heat soak time is elapsed an acoustic
alarm starts to warn that the carriage is going to open.
When t2 is elapsed the carriage opens and the display moves
automatically to the next page.
If pressure P2 or heating element temperature T goes out of the tolerance
range, the message “ERROR OCCURRED!” is shown and the symbol *
appears close to relevant parameter. The relevant error code will be
displayed at the end of the fusion process (see chapter 8.3.5) and an
error message will be also printed in the welding report (see chapters
10.2.3/12).
If the base machine carriage is forced to open during the heat soak time,
the process stops and the following error message appears:
By pushing the button the display moves to the Error Codes page
(see chapter 8.3.5).
